CAROLINE JANNACE
For the last decade I have worked in various aspects of the entertainment industry. Starting in 2014 working as a stagehand, I have since worked in the worlds of theatre, dance, live events, concerts and sports television in different capacities from stage management, directing, and in lighting as a designer, programmer (ETC Eos), electrician, and lighting director/board op. In transitioning to television I have also worked as a utility, stage manager for tv, robotic camera operator and as a video engineer which I have continued to work on live concerts cutting, shading, and directing cameras. I have a passion for bringing small studios and spaces up to broadcast standards.
Through my work in television I have been nominated for 4 Emmy Awards by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for my work at MLB and NBC Sports Networks. In 2022, I won my first Emmy for my work on the Super Bowl LVI Pregame Show with NBC as a Lighting Director.
In 2018 I began volunteering with Assemblywoman Taylor Darling’s office while completing my undergrad thesis on education inequality. This work has led to a position as her Media Specialist, creating informational content for New York States’ 18th Assembly District.
I currently own my own production company Reel Life Ethnos dedicated to working with independent artist and small businesses.
